This advert was taken from The Sun newspaper and again was pulled out of the sports section of the paper and it is for betting giants Coral. Coral are one of the nations leaders in the betting industry, not only on the high street but also online and with offers and odds like the ones shown in this advert, we can see why they have as many members both new and existing as they do. I do think they try and push a bit too much into this ad considering the size of it but at the same time it doesn’t look too squashed and they still get the message across. At the top of the advert we see the main offer which is there to attract its new potential members, bet £10 and get a free £20 bet, this is for new telephone and online members. The at the bottom of the advert is a number for you to call along with it’s opening times, or the website which is where the majority of the members will go, because a) it’s easy and b) it’s where you go into much more detail of what you wish to bet. The main body of this advert is taken up by odds on different accumulators available on that day and they have used Jeff Stelling in their advert. Jeff Stelling is a presenter who knows everything about football and is one of the most recognised faces amongst football fans so the use of him is great for Coral and is almost guaranteed to get new members.
