Coral Sports - The big game at the Weekend came at Stamford Bridge with Chelsea taking on Arsenal in a massive London Derby that was a must win for both sides, Chelsea because they wanted to take a 3 point lead at the top and Arsenal because they need some much needed confidence in order to get their own title charge under way.

The game itself was very even and when Arsenal defender Djourou put through his net to give Chelsea the lead at half time the game looked like being Chelsea’s until a certain Dutchman gave Arsenal’s fans an unlikely victory with two goals in 3 second half minutes. Robin Van Persie silenced the home fans with two goals although one was clearly offside to give Arsenal an unlikely 2-1 win an now only leaves them 7 points behind Chelsea in the table.
Manchester city hosted Manchester United in the other big Derby game of the day and at times had the Champions rattled until Rooney struck his 100th league goal to give United a precious 1-0 victory even though they had Ronaldo sent off.
Aston Villa hoped to stay on the leaders heels but could only muster a 0-0 draw at home to Fulham, Stoke City and Hull City played out a 1-1 draw at the Britannia stadium and Sunderland got a good beating in their 4-1 home defeat by Bolton even though taking the lead through Cisse.
Bottom side West Brom were turned over again with Wigan grabbing all three points in their 2-1 home win.
Tottenham Hotspur got a rude awakening in their home game with Everton with Pienaar grabbing the only goal in Everton’s 1-0 victory and Portsmouth and Blackburn shared 5 goals in their match with Portsmouth winning 3-2 at Fratton Park.
