Last season we had the infamous spy gate scandal involving Ferrari and McLaren in which McLaren were fined 50 million quid and had their constructors points total scrapped, this year we have another scandal but this time it is the boss of the FIA Max Mosley and his own newspaper sex scandal.

So the FIA boss has been caught with his pants down literally. What people get up to behind closed doors is entirely well in most cases their own business, but Max Mosley’s behaviour raises uncomfortable question marks regarding his past and personally I think he should have resigned the minute them pictures came out to save further problems.

The worst thing for Max is what he tells his friends because it is not as if he can lie about it or try to hide away.

His first problem is that he, being a married man, has been caught engaging in sexual practices with five prostitutes. The FIA is an international body and needs to do business with, and in countries where, the more relaxed western attitude towards sex is frowned upon. Influential leaders and businesses in those countries will find it difficult to continue to work with him for moral and religious reasons.
