With the second legs of the Quarter Finals taking place this Tuesday and Wednesday all eyes will be on their screens in anticipation to what should be some intriguing ties.
Liverpool and Arsenal hope to settle the Battle of Britain tie but in their previous 3 games they have just cancelled each other out and have all finished 1-1 draws so don’t hold your breath for an avalanche of goals in this one.
Chelsea on the other hand must turn around a 2-1 defeat at Stamford Bridge after a 1st leg deficit inflicted by Fenerbache in Turkey. But personally I fancy them to comfortably beat the Turkish team and set up a Battle of Britain part 2 with either Liverpool or Arsenal in the Semi Final.
In the other 2 Quarter Final games Manchester united and Barcelona who both won away from home in the first leg look to have safe passages through to the Semi Final which surely will be a mouth watering tie.
Although Roma who travel to Old Trafford and Schalke who are at the Barca aren’t out yet I don’t see any of the two overcoming First Leg defeats to win any of the ties.
