This week we had the third and final test between India and South Africa and it was one game that the bowlers of India seemed to have the upper hand in.
Having won the toss and seeming to be cruising at 152-1 South Africa somehow crumbled to 265 all out on the first day of the test.
Much in the same way South Africa did to India in the 2nd test the Indian bowlers ripped through the South African batsmen almost at will and with India amassing 325 on a crumbling wicket which was starting to turn with a lot of uneven bounce he odds were stacked against South Africa with a 1st innings deficit of 60 runs which proved vital as the game panned out.
South Africa started the 2nd innings with the ball darting everywhere and all the batsmen failed to get going and were skittled out for a meagre 121 leaving India just needing 64 runs to win the test and draw the series 1-1, which they managed with just the loss of 2 wickets giving them an 8 wicket win and a drawn series.
Harbajan Singh was the chief man with the ball taking home match figures of 7-96 and Ganguly was the highest scoring batsmen in the match gathering 87 runs in the 1st innings to help them get that crucial match winning lead.
