With so many Coral Sports teams promising a better car to try and catch up with Brawn at this star studded Grand Prix the weekend finished with Jenson Button extending his lead and bar Ferrari who had allot better time of things of it in this race with their drivers finishing 3rd and 4th respectively while all the other teams were once again found wanting and too be honest need to get back to the drawing board as Brawn GP once again came in 1st and 2nd to give them a clear lead in both the drivers and Constructors championships.

McLarens Lewis Hamilton’s finished the race in 12th position but his race was effectively over before it even began starting last on the grid after a driving error forced him to crash into the barrier during the 1st qualifying session and with him then changing his gear box it meant he started dead last and with overtaking so difficult at Monaco it gave him no chance of any realistic points.

Raikkonen at times did look capable of catching the Brawn car with his Ferrari certainly matching Button and Barrichello’s times lap for lap for a while but he just did not have that little bit extra to get him past any of the two cars when it really mattered and finished the race on the podium in 3rd place but a full 13.4 seconds behind Jenson Button.

Button who now has 51 points looks certain to take the drivers title and if the other teams do not get there acts sorted out quickly this season could become very embarrassing indeed and could end with a few of them calling it a day with Formula 1.
