With the season now up and running and the teams now getting to grips with the English Football season let’s have a look at next week’s fixtures and give you what I think may happen next weekend.

Home Wins
This week’s games where I think the home side will win start at Blackburn where new boys Hull visit Ewood park and I expect Paul Ince’s men to have too much for Hull City, Liverpool should beat Middlesbrough at Anfield after their impressive 1-0 win at Sunderland last week, Newcastle after their credible draw with the Champions Man-Utd at Old Trafford should start their home campaign off with a win over Bolton at St James Park.

Away wins
This week’s teams that have chances away from home include Arsenal who make the short journey across London to face Fulham and I think will win by at least 2 goals, Aston Villa travel to new boys Stoke City and expect more goals from Villas strike force in what should be an easy victory for Villa, Everton who had a shock defeat at home to Blackburn on the opening day travel to West Brom and although I expect the game to be very tight I think Everton will just nick it by the odd goal, and after their demolition of Portsmouth on the opening day Chelsea travel to Wigan and surely will have too much for the home side, expect a 3 or 4 nilvictory for Chelsea.

I really cannot separate these sides and if I had to stick my neck out I would say that there is a strong chance they could all end up in stalemates.
