It was the fight that all fans and more have been waiting to see for months and the build up to the fight was nearly as exciting as the actual fight itself. Ricky Hatton put up a great fight against Floyd Mayweather, but on the night he seemed to be out boxed and out fought, Hatton did try and outwit Mayweather from the very start but his tactics just never seemed to work for him and seldom did his punches connect fully with Mayweather, and his arm and shoulders took the brunt of what Hatton was dishing out.
Mayweather landed the first effective punch of the night in the first round with a swinging left hook, but Hatton soon had his fans screaming when he landed a clean left hand on Mayweather and caused him to lose his balance slightly, but he soon recoverd and landed another cracking left hand on Hatton in the closing minutes of an action packed 1st round. Things did seem to look grim for Hatton throughout this fantastic fight, but all credit to him as he stuck to his game plan and never ever gave up until he was knocked out in the 10th round by Mayweather. You could not fault Hattons bravery or determination and you can well see why he has the name of Hit Man Hatton!
The Hatton fans did not stop cheering for him from the time Hatton entered the Boxing ring and even at the very end they were still chanting his name and were a tremendous support for him throughout the entire fight.
