With the greatest Sporting event other than the Olympics begin to start in less than a year and a half in South Africa I thought it was quite a good opportunity to tell you what Ladbrokes are offering in terms of prices for the great Footballing event.

My tip for the trophy is current European Champions Spain (who I tipped) who are priced at 9/1 and with players such as Real Madrid’s Cassilas in goal the cultured talent of Fabregas in midfield and the explosive finishing power of Torres up front they will be a major force in the finals.
Out of the home African nation’s one team that does look inviting is the Ivory Coast who are a massive 33/1 and when you think about the temperatures and humidity in that continent that could well be a decent each way price indeed.
